This week's writing prompts:
What did you work on the most this week?
This week I really focused on perfecting my magazine. I took the comments made in my peer edits to transform my magazine. For me, this mostly meant I was changing the formatting of my paragraphs and adjusting the size of my images. I also got some positive comments on my coloring and organization so I will keep that in mind when producing my final magazine copy.
How do you think troubleshooting skills will translate for you in your journalism career?
Learning how to troubleshoot will be extremely important in my career development. by knowing how to problem solve, you can teach yourself new skills on your own which I believe is fundamental to independence in your career. I think with the resources we now have at our fingertips there really isn’t any excuse to not troubleshoot before asking for help. There are videos, websites, and how-to guides for almost every problem out there. If after using these resources you still have questions, then I would ask my boss or a coworker.
